Double-Click Within Text Area to Select ALL Text ############################################################################# MAIN OUTPUT TEXT AREA 1 RISING / TRANSIT / SETTING TIMES TABLE TEMPLATE The basic concept is to design a function to perform a NASA/JPL Horizons API computation and create an interface to make use of it. It can be customized to serve a dedicated purpose, in this case, generating a table of the rising, transit and setting times of any given solar system body, given its Horizons database ID. PHP programmers can easily change and customize this template. The results of computations can be printed in this area and/or the optional second text area below as well. The text areas should automatically change size according to the size of the returned text block to minimize scrolling. ----------------------------------- For JPL Database Body ID = 10 Sun (10) START Date = 2026-Oct-06 STOP Date = 2026-Oct-06 Local Time Zone Offset = UT-05:00 Daylight / Summer Time = No Optional Location Label = Geneva, NY, USA GPS Longitude = -76.996491 ° (+Pos = East) GPS Latitude = +42.868473 ° (+Pos = North) ****************************************************************************** NASA/JPL HORIZONS EPHEMERIS / DATA OUTPUT FOLLOWS BELOW ****************************************************************************** RISING, TRANSIT and SETTING TIMES FOR: Sun (10) START Date = 2026-Oct-06 STOP Date = 2026-Oct-06 Location Label = Geneva, NY, USA Local Time Zone = -05:00 (+Pos = East) Day/Sum Time Y/N = No GPS Latitude Deg = +42.868473 GPS Longitude Deg = -76.996491 (+Pos = East) Altitude in Meters = +0.0 m ======================================================= Calend_Date Time Event Azim° Elev° Vis_Mag ============ ===== ======= ====== ======= ======= 2026-Oct-06 06:11 Rise 96.35 - -26.743 2026-Oct-06 11:57 Transit | 41.84 -26.743 2026-Oct-06 17:41 Set 263.50 - -26.743 =======================================================
